0.100.0 released!


0.100.0 is ready for download and I'm pretty happy about it. Every part of the game is in place except for story content. Everything else is a matter of polish and improvement though iteration. More skills, more towers, more map types, more balancing, improving the UI/X of various screens, better music/sounds, and responding to player feedback (which you can submit in the game).

The build number went from 1465 to 2584. It's said a game isn't ready to release until that reaches 8000, so there's still a ways to go. But with this, the path forward isn't easier, just straighter. 

From here on out, I plan for smaller releases so they can be faster, less important individually. Some things like 3D content and design are going to take me longer because I'm not an artist. But now I can confidently begin engaging others for that sort of thing. I'll look into publishing a demo on steam and other such places. I'm also going to see about getting the auto-account creation to work with itch's desktop app so you don't have to create an account manually to upload levels.

The journey has only begun and I'm only on the second step. It was a big one, though. I hope you enjoy the game so far. I know it's terribly unbalanced right now, but with your help I can fix that. Play some levels, make some levels, and let me know what you think! Until next time.
