Working towards the first demo release

I accidentally triggered a full rebuild of my unity project, so I have time to write this while my hard drive and ram converse on the best type of noose knot.

I'm in the end stages of releasing the initial itch.io page and the first demo. A few bugs in the settings menu has delayed me. I want to move on to the next stage of development. The game loop is functionally complete. But it is strung together with tissue and spider silk. No MVP No Life. Now I can move forward with a brush, polish, and paint. I'm looking forward to the level editor and getting it online so people can upload their own levels. That's when everything starts, I think.

I'm nervous because my wife is pregnant, I don't have a job, and I'm tooling around with this game "on the side". I suppose it keeps the mind busy.
